Sweet, darling, tiny Tess has been returned to us when her owner fell ill. Tess has come a long way since being rescued this summer after living her last 8 years as a breeder dog. Tess's story is all too common with retired breeder dogs...it does take a lot of patience, love, and true devotion in teaching them how to be a pet, but the joys of seeing them show affection, follow you into a room, and ask to be held are worth every single moment of time.
It's truly rewarding to see Tess make great strides every week, no matter how small. She is definitely ready to find a calm, loving, patient home environment where she can bond with her forever family and continue to make huge progress in her love of life and family. She would love a canine companion to help teach her dog life, she is now learning to play with toys even, thanks to her canine buddies playtimes.
