Adorable little Val had a rough start in life, but is now loving life in her foster home! She came to us with the mentality of kennel dog life-scared of her own shadow, running in fear, and trusted no one. Weeks of TLC and patient, caring human hands have brought out the best in his baby girl, and it's time to find her forever family that will continue the love. We believe her to be a labradoodle or aussiedoodle, nice little small/medium size with a coarse, minimal shedding hair coat. She is right in the midst of puppyhood, crate and house training, and learning which toys are hers to chew up, and which are the human toddler's toys in the house. She certainly loves playtime with children who are at her level and gentle with her. Val also thrives with a canine companion, finds her security there. She is lost without that, so she will be placed in a home with another dog to keep her company. Due to her past experience, she will also be required to have fully fenced yard to keep her safe and secure in times of fear should they arise. We expect her to make a full emotional recovery, and be a fabulous addition to nearly any family ready for an active puppy, but it will take time, patience, and understanding on her family's part to let her adjust and settle in with lots of encouragement.
