April UPDATE: Their final step in heartworm treatment is complete, and true healing has begun. We are happy to annouce that Jackson has been adopted to a loving family...now it's Jasmine's turn!
This wonderful girl is a needy soul who loves nothing more than being side by side or underfoot of her humans. She is now house trained and crate trained as well. A calm home to spoil her would be ideal!
March update: Jasmine and her pal, Jackson, are halfway through their heartworm treatment and doing very well. They have bonded beautifully with their foster mom and dad, and are learning life as spoiled, adored pups. They will be officially ready for adoption soon, and will be adopted to separate families, they are not a bonded pair. Individual families with patience and attention dedicated to each one of them will suit them well.
Meet Jasmine!
She and Jackson were our last rescues of 2019, and have quite the sad story. They lived in a cage as breeder dogs with little human interaction, leaving her knowing nothing of life as a beloved pet. However, since being rescued Jasmine has already claimed her spot on the couch, and loves nothing more than cuddle time. Unfortunately she is heartworm positive and going through treatment now. We would love your support towards her medical costs should you be inclined.
Please visit our website at www.genesisanimalrescue.org to complete an adoption application.
