Meet Twink,    an energetic,   enthusiastic, and very intelligent fellow...he can shake hands, sit, lie down, jump through a hoop, roll over, stay, and come when called; when he comes, he has been trained to sit down directly in front of the person who called him.   He is learning to heel.   Twink would make a fantastic agility course dog!

He will chase a ball sometimes, and is learning to bring it back although he is inconsistent about returning it.   He   responds well to verbal praise and dog treats.

Twink doesn’t bark much.   He seems to think it’s important to defend his kennel if someone or something unfamiliar approaches it and barks at those times.   But, once out of the kennel, he is thrilled to meet everyone!

Twink loves attention and tries hard to please!   His playful nature is very endearing and he is fun to watch! Because Twink is very bright, he also recognizes when he can get away with inappropriate behaviors.   He needs an authority figure to be in charge and he will respect that authority and remain on his best behavior.   Twink will be a wonderful pet for someone who is willing to work with him consistently, firmly, and lovingly!
