Sweet Mia came to us as a stray - as much as we can piece together - she was lost or dumped from her family out in the country near a highway. Neighbors in the area said she had been hanging around for about a month - eating road kill and pilfering in trash cans to survive. She was dodging traffic on the highway - and had just dodged a semi truck when a good samaritin stopped and let her jump in his car! She was very grateful and rested her head on his shoulder to say thanks!
She is a very very sweet girl - loves everyone - people and animals alike. Just wants to be loved. She's very quiet - and only offered a few whines when left alone or crated while at my house. Being an adolescent - she is a chewer and a jumper - so needs some basic training and a lot of exercise. In her foster home she is enjoying playing with their Sheltie and is very interested in the cat and birds - but not harmful in any way.
One thing to know - she can jump or scale any fence she sees - so she cannot be trusted in a fenced yard unattended or she will be gone. She will need to be kept indoors when you are not able to watch her.
