The sun has sure shined on Sunny in his time of desperate need! Confinscated from an abandoned trailer, where he had not eaten in weeks, and open sores from the fleas led to maggots inside his poor, emaciated shell. Yet still a friendly outcry and a wag of the tail left in him when the animal control officer came to lift his limp body out of the dirt and into loving arms! He was doomed for death, as it seemed that he would be better off, but the look in his eyes told a different story. AS he so badly wanted someone to give him a chance, he promised to be a good dog! Sunny has been saved, and has fulfilled his promise as we have ours, and now is in great health and happiness. UPDATE:4/6/05 Sunny has informed us that he couldn't be happier in his new, wonderful home. He has adjusted well since his adoption in Novemeber and is learning to love the kitties! He has now weighed in at 45lbs and grown enough hair to have his first haircut,(a long way from 28lbs and a complete shave down to the skin). We couldn't be happpier for him and thankfull to his adoptive parents for giving him a second chance at life and enjoying it to it's fullest. A warm hug and kiss to Our Sunny!
