Meet Max!!
Mr. Max joined our Genesis family in late August after proving to be more than his owner could handle. This stunningly handsome, chocolate boy is all Lab in personality and energy. He has been trained extensively in obedience and manners, but needs a dog savy owner with an alpa personality to appreciate his energy and intelligence.

Current notes from his foster mom: "Max is adjusting to us very well in his first week! He has learned to come and sit when I call him instead of jumping on me; he just learned to
"shake"; he understands "down" for lying down; and is getting better at "stay".
He behaves beautifully on the pinch collar and he and Moose play well together.
He is great with the horses, doesn't bark overly excited when he's near them. He actually doesn't bark very much at anything - that might be an appealing characteristic! He crates well and rides in the truck easily. Also, is good with children! 
I think he needs firm but loving treatment to contain his natural exuberance. He also likes to fetch balls and toys - a good way to get him the exercise he needs. He's going to become a super
dog!!!"
