Hi everyone, my name is Daisy Duke.  But they could have called me Happy, cause that's what I am HAPPY!  My story starts out kinda sad - but it ends up good.

I used to have a family but one day I followed my nose smelling some yummy smells, and I got lost and couldn't find my way home.  They took me to Animal Control with all the other lost or unwanted dogs.  I waited and waited for my family to come find me.  But they never came.  And then I hoped some other family would pick me to go home with them - but everyone just kept walking by my cage.  That made me a little sad.

But one day my luck changed.  This lady that had come several times and took pictures of me, she came back for me and took me with her!  She said it was just in time!  I'm glad that she came back for me - I gave her lots and lots of kisses!

But the lady, my foster mom, says that this isn't going to be my forever home - even though I like it here.  She says there is a special family out there for me - that is going to love me more than I can even imagine.  I hope there is another dog to play with there - cause I love to wrestle with my foster brother here.

Do you like to go running?  Cause I LOVE to RUN.  Maybe we could go running every day together?  But my foster mom says my new family can never let me off lead - cause I follow my nose - then I get lost.  So you have to keep me safe.  After we go running, or hiking in the woods (all those wonderful smells!) - we can go back and snuggle on the couch - I like that too.  Or whatever you want to do - I will hang out with you.
