Update: Kermit had his first vet exam on Monday. He has a few health issues we need to work on before he will be available for adoption. Diet conversion away from seeds is our priority. Most pet birds that live purely on seeds, will have health problems such as fatty liver disease and vitamin A deficiency.

Kermit was surrendered to a shelter in LA after hurricane Katrina. He is a friendly cockatiel, that could become a wonderful pet with some tlc. The age listed for Kermit is not accurate. Kermit is an adult, but beyond that, it is difficult to estimate a bird's age other than very young or very old. He is a small cockatiel.
