Trixie has only know the world of being a mama. As a retired breeding dog, she is still learning what it is like to be a beloved member of the family. Very quickly after Trixie joined us, we discovered she had a pyometra (infected uterus). Trixie received a life saving surgery and started her road to recovery. The more days that go by the more her corgi personality comes out. Trixie is catching on potty training in her foster home. She enjoys the company of other dogs but will also do well being an only dog. Trixie likes to be close but will keep a watchful eye on her surrounding. While she does love the little humans in her foster home, Trixie would do best with older children in a calmer home. This girl is ready for someone to spoil her!
