Sweet little miss Dixie Sue has been through so much in her lifetime. She was adopted as a puppy and loved for many years. A few years ago her owner passed away and last month, she was found by animal control in terrible condition. We are unsure how she found herself alone in the country. Dixie's coat was matted so tightly that she had to be sedated and shaved to get her some relief! Her pearly white coat is growing back nicely and she has had a dental cleaning so her pearly white teeth now match! Dixie Sue has wiggled her way into her foster family's heart and even sleeps in bed with them. She is a quiet gal, as long as she has a cozy spot to curl up. You would never know that this girl was feeling poorly just a short time ago. In her foster home, she gets along well with kids, other dogs and cats. Dixie is a happy go lucky gal with a lot of love left to give!
