Harper is as cute and sweet as they come, a fabulous family dog!!! He is asking for a doggy buddy in his new home, he couldn't be happier playing and rough housing with the 4-legged kids in his foster home. He also enjoys children for playtime, although he sometimes mistakes them for his dog friends and can get a little rambunctious in play, so toddlers may be a little too small for him. Harper is completly crate trained while his foster family is away at work and no need for a crate at night, he makes his own bed underneath the foster mom and dad's bed, and is very content to sleep all night with no incidents! He is learning to give signals when he needs to potty and progressing well with house training.

Harper doesn't know a stranger, can't wait to meet new people to cuddle him, he is a great snuggler once he's been well exercised for the day. His only other request is a safe, secure place for outside playing, he believes he is marathon runner, so safe play in a fenced yard or at the dog park, etc is a must, otherwise, sneaking out the door and down the street is a fun activity for him, but not a safe one. He loves walks on leash as well, and this is drastically improving his house training skills, rather than expecting him to know when to potty if outside by himself in the yard.

One last interesting tidbit about Harper is his love for water!! He couldn't be happier enjoying a swim in your backyard pool or fun in the sun on the lake, he is a great boating buddy! He'll settle for a fun bath during the winter months, but look out next summer!
