Katrina Dog:
This pet was rescued from the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
Her owner did not feel he could care for her with all of his current housing problems, etc. Grace has been traumatized by the event and is slowly learning to trust us and her surroundings. She greatly enjoys other dogs and they have helped her drastically through this process. She is crate trained and has quite a bundle of energy! She would love a large, securely fenced area to spend the day running and playing with a canine buddy. Grace has come a long way since her arrival with us and needs an owner who is understanding of her fears and willing to attend training to help her bond with them.
